Bridgton Academy's computer network is built on a fiber optic backbone using switched fast Ethernet to connect all buildings on the campus. In addition to numerous file servers, Bridgton Academy has its own web server, streaming audio/video server, mail server, and remote access server. A fiber based T1 line connects the Academy to the Internet.

All dormitory rooms and classrooms are connected to the network. Students may connect personal computers to the network. Bridgton Academy is a PC school, but will connect student MACs to the network. All dorm rooms have voice connections, and students may arrange to have private phones in their dorm room. All students have email and voice mail accounts. These accounts may be accessed from personal computers or phones, or by using public access computers and voice mail phones.

The Academy has 32 public access computers in the Hamlin Study Center and 12 public access computers in the Humanities Center. The Computer Lab, located in the Hamlin Study Center, is available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, and from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Bridgton Academy uses Windows XP as its operating system and utilizes Office 2007 as the application suite.
